More Volts!
Universal Audio has announced the addition of two new 4-channel audio interfaces to their popular Volt line-up. The entry-level Volt range is aimed at home music producers, streamers and other content creators who want plug-and-play ease of use for Mac, PC, iPad, and iPhone, but value the quality and heritage associated with Universal Audio products.
The new Volt 4 is a 4-in/4-out USB interface with a selectable “Vintage” mode which engages UA’s emulation of their own sweet, sweet UA610 tube pre-amp. The Volt 476P includes four analog preamp inputs and a compressor based on their renowned 1176 Limiting Amplifier.

Prices start at $139 for the Volt 1, and UA is offering $400 in UAD Plug-ins free with any Volt USB audio interface purchased before 31st October 2022. We’ve not managed to get our hands on a unit yet, but this is definitely one to check out!
