Arturia Dish Out Double Dirt
According to our favourite French music technologists Arturia, Dist COLDFIRE is a “dual-engine distortion effect that goes from rich tube saturation to unrestrained sonic destruction in a few clicks”, allowing users to “combine analog & digital algorithms with deep modulation and customisation, and unlock near-infinite distortion possibilities…”.
The plugin features two distortion engines and 11 distortion algorithms, each with their own specific controls:

- Waveshaper
As you would expect from Arturia, you can quickly get some very pleasing results, with over 150 presets built in, but users also can dig down into some much more advanced features and fettle until their ears are content:
